great for people with vision problems

My dad just bought his second lamp. This is the only light source by which he can read successfully due to macular degeneration. The bright halogen light can be placed directly over the reading material. The arm moves very smoothly on a stable base.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

powerful luminescence and nice design

This is a very modern design that goes quite well with just about any color furniture. The lamp stands quite tall and the lamp head is very small but has a very strong illumination without creating too much heat like conventional lamps do. The foot push button is also a real nice feature. I do recommend it!
